Hey Baddie!

I am Brittany, your kickass photographer specializing in empowerment and intimate portraiture. Full time owner of Boudie Calls Boudoir! My style of photography is moody, sultry and fun. I take a more emotional and candid approach to shooting and capturing exactly how you feel in the moment!

My goal is to stop the stigmatization around our bodies. Society tells us that we are and will never be good enough and I am here to tell you, you ARE and will ALWAYS be good enough.

My sessions are frequently described as hanging out with your best friend and by the end you’re feeling like a total bad bitch and we’re officially friends for life!

When’s the last time you did something just for you? I think it’s time.

Homestead

My husband and I grow a big garden, raise chickens and make lots of things we use ourselves! The goal is a fully functional homestead, and we are on our way for that. I love my sourdough bread and I have hundreds of jars, that one day will be filled with canned foods!

Some fun facts about your favorite boudie tog!

My family is my life

I am a very proud mama of 3 amazing kids and a mediocre wife to an absolutely incredible husband of 10 years. I don’t deserve the amazing humans I have, but I am so glad to have them, they keep me going even when I want to quit.

Obsessed

I do have an [un]healthy obsession with a few things. Number 1. Horror movies, I am obsessed. I don’t need any other genre. Number 2. Crystals. I have enough to start my own shop. and number 3. Christmas cookies. Self explanatory.

I am not here to tell you to love yourself.

As someone who is not and has never been societies idea of beauty or attractiveness, I can say with complete certainty that loving yourself takes time… SO MUCH TIME, and patience. It doesn’t happen overnight, it doesn’t happen after a boudoir session with me, as much as I want you to love yourself, I can’t make that happen in one session, but what I CAN do is help you get on the path to self-acceptance. Accepting who you are, and the space you take up RIGHT NOW, is what I am trying to achieve. Everyone deserves to exist peacefully, and I am here to tell you, its ok to be happy as you are. Its ok.

You ARE enough, exactly how you are.

Our lives always seem to revolve around caring for someone other than ourselves. You are important. It’s time to take a day to reconnect with your heart and soul and be reminded of the gorgeous, powerful woman you are.
